5922 FLANGE SEALANT

Loctite® 5922™ is a black, viscous paste for sealing/dressing old and new pre-cut gaskets (paper, cork, felt, etc.). It is a slow drying, flexible setting paste that changes to a pliable, non-hardened film through solvent evaporation. It seals flanges, fittings, connections and flexible assemblies against leakage. It increases the reliability of gasket seals. It is suitable for valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets, cover plates, threaded connections and hose connections and is ideal for part assembly after repairs.
